We’re all on a journey to…

make a positive difference
in this world!

That’s why we chose teaching in the first place!

Maybe your zeal for education is growing & you’re digging into your purpose…or maybe, like many others, you’re at a crossroads you never expected.

Whether you have a clear vision of your future or you feel as if you’re stumbling around in the dark trying to figure out your next step, you don’t have to do it alone!

My goal is to meet you where you are

And to Support You on Your Journey

I want to help you find a new love for teaching or provide you with the tools you need to exit the classroom with grace and a plan. But just know that whichever path you choose, I’m here to cheer you on and encourage you every step of the way!

Hi! I’m Jennifer, founder and teacher behind the screen.

When I walked across that stage over 20 years ago to receive my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, I had a plan! I was going to get a teaching job, make a positive impact on ALL of the students who came into my life, and then retire.

But that’s the funny thing about plans. We can make them all day long, yet they can change at the drop of a hat with (or without) our consent.

And that’s EXACTLY what happened to me.

You see, while I knew I wanted to teach, I’d always planned to be a stay-at-home mom from the birth of my children until the youngest started school. And that’s what I did…so that plan worked out perfectly!

However, I had no way of anticipating that my mom’s third cancer diagnosis would change EVERYTHING.

At that point, I had the option to allow the Lord to direct my path (even when the outcome was unclear) or hold tight to what I believed was the best plan. And if I hadn’t been willing to pivot…

I would have missed out on being able to

Serve You in This Moment

The unknown is terrifying, but it’s so much easier when you have support. And sometimes you find that support in the most unlikely of places…like a blog you stumbled upon while searching for answers. Friend, you found your way here for a reason. So how can I help?

A Few Random Facts About Me

I had a double mastectomy at 29 years old after my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

I love Jesus. He lived a sinless life, chose to die on a cross for MY sins (+ yours), and resurrected from the grave to save us.

I genuinely love to LAUGH and I do so frequently! Laughter truly is the best medicine. Want to stay positive? Laugh!

My hair is naturally curly and I had no idea just how curly it was until I got a perm…a few weeks before starting high school.

I LOVE to organize things, and when I feel overwhelmed or stressed out, you can usually find me organizing something.
