We’re all on a journey…
A journey of finding our passions, living life to the fullest, & making a difference in this world. That’s why we chose teaching in the first place! Maybe your zeal is growing & you’re digging into your purpose…or maybe, like many others, you’re at a crossroads you never expected.
If difficulties were known at the outset of a long journey, most of us would never start out at all. ~Dan Rather
Many of the difficulties we face are simply part of life, but sometimes those tough situations are put into our path to make us step back & take an inventory of where we currently are & where we want to be in 10 years.
Whether you’re leaning into your purpose & have a clear vision of what your future looks like or you feel as if you’re stumbling around in the dark trying to figure out where you need to go, you don’t have to do it alone!
Teaching in itself can feel very isolating, but facing a crossroads in your teaching journey can feel like the loneliest place you’ve ever found yourself. You don’t know where to go or who to ask for help, but you hear the voices of people telling you to “buck up” and deal with it because that’s just life.
YEt you know you were created for more
💡 More than just going through the motions every day
💡 More than just getting a paycheck
💡 More than just punching a time clock
While stepping outside your comfort zone is terrifying, Sue Bird said it best, “The one thing you learn is when you can step out of your comfort zone and be uncomfortable, you see what you’re made of and who you are.”
Doing scary things is so much easier when you have support, and that’s why you have to surround yourself with people who believe in you & want you to be successful. In other words, cultivating meaningful friendships.
And sometimes they’re found in the least likely places…like a blog you stumbled upon while searching for answers. Friend, it’s my belief that you found your way here for a reason & the Lord orchestrated your very steps.
My goal is to meet you where you are, help you find your unique path, & cheer you on as you embark on a journey you were made for!! Remember this, “Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter.” ~Izaak Walton
